David Kahn, Esq.

David Kahn is a criminal defense attorney in Asheville, North Carolina. Attorney Kahn spent the first years of his legal career as a prosecutor, where he handled all kinds of criminal prosecutions, juvenile delinquency charges, the DUI treatment docket and family-related matters.

Attorney Kahn’s experience as a prosecutor taught him how the District Attorney and law enforcement agencies view cases, where there are often weaknesses in the State’s case, and how to win over a jury.

Attorney Kahn is a graduate from Vermont Law School, where he earned magna cum laude honors and was an editor of the Law Review.

Prior to law school, Attorney Kahn earned a Bachelor’s in History from Yale University.

As a solo attorney, Kahn enjoys being able to have direct contact with clients and being intimately involved in every step of defending each client’s case and advocating for their rights. Kahn feels privileged to be able to provide guidance and support as clients deal with the difficulties of facing criminal charges.

Kahn lives in Asheville with his wife and two young children.
